Thanks for the tips. Here are some basic on-page requirements.
-Keywords in title tag
-Bold keywords on the body
-Keywords in meta tags
-separate title for every page

More on-page optimization factors:

-Search Engine Verification from Google, Yahoo and MSN
-Submission of XML Sitemap
-Creation of Proper Link Structure
-Creation and Submission of ROR.xml

In my point of view on page optimization technique require for good traffic and ranking in all major search engines. Onpage page optimization process start with keyword research and main part of onpage optimization is Meta title and Meta Description.
